Charlotte: Passed peacefully on Friday, March 28th 2014 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wife Gay; 3 brothers; son-in-law, John LoBiondo. Survived by daughters, Nancy (Gary) Baker, Martha (Phil) Haust, Linda LoBiondo; son & best friend John C. Albert; grandchildren, Lisa Carter, Brian (Tammy) Baker, Lorri Smith; great grandchildren, Max, Tess, Cory, Justin; sister, Mary Moran; sister-in-law Barbara (Red) Hawley; many nieces, nephews and friends.

John was a WWII Army Veteran, a retiree of Marine Midland (Charlotte Branch) and a lifelong musician and songwriter.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Cottages 100 at Park Ridge Living Center.


Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, April 6th from 1-3 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a brief Prayer Service will be held following at 3 PM.
