Greece: Passed away peacefully with his daughters' at his side on November 12, 2007, at age 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jessie; daughters, Dawn (James) Schottmiller and Wendy (Scott) Swinney; beloved grandchildren, Courtney, Joseph and Brittany Schottmiller and sister, Norma Massey. John was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WW II.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday (TODAY) November 14th, from 6-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Assoc.
