John F. Deegan
Greece: Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2nd at age 86. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia. Survived by children, Ellen Deegan, Karen Pearson, John P. (Karie) Deegan; grandchildren, Brandon, Katie (Todd) Wingrove, Emily, Jessica (Rob) MacClaren, Amanda, Rebecca, Matthew; great-grandson, Maddox; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
John joined the Fraternal Order of the Eagles at age 17 and remained active for nearly 65 years, he was also a Korean War Army Veteran and retired from Eastman Kodak after 35+ years. The family would like to thank the staff at The Villages of Orleans for their friendship and wonderful care given to John over the past 5 years.
Visitation Hours will be held from 3-7 PM on Sunday, December 6th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, December 7th at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment to follow at Falls Cemetery.
