John G. Chase

Greece: Passed on Friday April 11th, 2014 at age 63 after a coura­geous battle with cancer. He is sur­vived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joanne (Burritt) Chase; cherished daughter, Christiana Chase of Orlando, FL.; father, J. Richard (Noreen) Chase of Lake City, FL.; mother, Mary Chase; brother, Dr. Thomas (Marilyn) Chase of MN.; sister, Laura (Dominic) Martin of TN.; sisters-in-law, Carol Burritt & Marjorie DiFlorio; many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends; trea­sured dogs, Chelsea & Newton.

John worked 30 years for Mon­roe Co. Pure Waters and also ran Chase Computer Consulting. He was also President of the board of directors of Cypress Pointe Resort and Cove at Yar­mouth. John was also an avid Buf­falo Bills Fan.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers for their love and support for the past 6 years.


Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, April 16th from 4-6 PM at the Park Ridge Free Meth­odist Church (corner of Long Pond & Straub Rd.), where a Funeral Ceremony will immediately follow the Calling Hours at 6 PM.
