Rochester:
Passed, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at age 85 after a brief illness .
Predeceased by his wife Dolores, the love of his life, in 1981. Survived by his daughters, Cindy (Eric) Tyler, Jackie (Steve) Welk and Linda (Dave Ciroula) Green, grandchildren, Jeff (Kate) Welk, Tim (fiancée Katie Kuzinevich) Welk, Christina Welk, Jonathan Tyler and Emily Tyler.
Born July 1, 1930 in Sharon, PA. Jack was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving in Japan and South Korea. He was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. In addition to being an exceptional artist, he was an inquisitive man with many passions, including Astronomy (having built his own telescopes), The Civil War, anything Disney, vintage toys, and history. Jack was the life of the party and was a life long die hard Boston Red Sox fan.
There will be a private burial in Sharon, PA. Jack was a voracious reader and enjoyed using the Monroe County Library's In-Home Service.
