Rochester: Passed peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at age 91. He is predeceased by his wife, Marion. He is survived by his brother, Anthony; sister, Julia; nieces, Paulette, Maryann, Josephine and nephew, Anthony John. John was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during WWII.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 20th from 5-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 AM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
