Passed August 6, 2018 at the age of 86
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Valerie Cotton; children, Simon (Naoko) Cotton, Christopher (Kristen) Cotton, & Dominic (Michelle) Cotton; & grandchildren, Winslow, Sonja, Tina, Nina, & Michael.
Sailing, travel, and photography were a common thread throughout Jack's life along with family, science, & engineering & to a lesser extent motor racing, table tennis, & bridge.
Jack was proud to be able to say that he lived for a minimum of three months in 32 different houses in five different countries.
Over his career he earned 17 patents, he was a Fellow of the IEEE, as well as many accolades & trophies earned throughout his life.
Calling hours will be held 3-7pm August 10, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Rochester, NY. All who attend are encouraged to share stories of Jack.
