Hoder, John P.
Scottsville: Formerly of Colonie, NY, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family on February 2, 2013, at age 92. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Emma (Holzer); children, John J., Joan (James), Geraldine (Greg), Andrew (Judy); grandchildren, Andrew, Christine, Karen, Lisa; great-grandson, Alton; several nieces & nephews.
John was a longtime active member of the Church of St. Clare, Colonie, NY, and current member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church in Scottsville, NY. He was a member of the Mohawk Antique Auto Club, past Scout Leader of Troop #47 of Colonie, NY, and a member of the USS Samuel Chase Reunion.
Family will receive friends 10 AM - 11 AM on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205, followed by a Service at 11 AM. Interment, Memory Gardens Cemetery.
