John Paul Vyrvoss
KENDALL: Died peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, January 4, 2014.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gladys May (Earle).
Predeceased by his mother and father, Anthony and Effie Vyrvoss; two sisters, Genevieve Anchors and Irene Gates; and grandson, Michael Vyrvoss.
He also leaves behind a family who adored everything about him – daughters, Orry (Dean) Schermerhorn, Linda (John) Lotze, Claudette (William) Roth, and Rose (Charlie) Shannon; sons, Vincent (Rosalie) Bissanti, John (Michelle) Bissanti, Joseph (Tammy) Bissanti, and Anthony (Linda) Vyrvoss; 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
John was a 21 year retired World War II veteran and worked at Gerber Foods and Kleen Brite Manufacturing. He enjoyed the simple life of family and friends.
Many thanks to those that cared for John at the Villages of Orleans in Albion. You made his twilight years comfortable and happy.
A family only memorial service is planned for Thursday, January 9th at New Comer Funeral Home with a springtime internment at Hillside Cemetery in Clarendon, NY.
In lieu of flowers, John would want you to make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
