John Louis Petranek, III of Spencerport, NY passed away on January 29, 2019.
John was born in Ossining, NY to John Louis Petranek, II and Virginia Lawrence on February 11, 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was very actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved spending time with his church family. John was known for his quick wit and engaging smile. He had a deep love for his children.
John is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Thomas.
John is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Wendy (Jeff) Klement of Ulysses, NE, Jared (Taylor) Petranek of Pike, NY, Leah (Jim) Huffman of Yutan, NE, and Jonathan Petranek of Houston, TX; brother, Wayne Petranek of Choctaw, MS; and many treasured grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 5th at 4:30 pm at the Brockport Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4088 Lake Rd North, Brockport, NY.
