Conte, John R. "Ronnie"

Rochester: Passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Saturday, November 24, 2012 at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Julia (Granis) Conte. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Lovetro) Conte; daughters, Sylvia (James) Gordon, Julia Conte; step-children, Rhonda (John) Godin, Anthony (Kristen) Alfieri; brothers, Joseph (Wilie) and Louis (Grace) Conte; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

John was a US Army veteran after nine years of service. He was employed by Monroe County Government Dept. of Public Works for 29 years.

Family will receive friends Wednesday 3-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., followed by a service at 7 p.m.
