Rochester- John J. "Jay" Shultis, 79, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family.
Jay was born in Amityville, NY on April 5, 1940 to the late Kenneth and Claire Shultis. On April 23, 1960 Jay married the love of his life, Judy. They were married for 59 years and together they raised four children. Jay was a career electrician for over 40 years. He will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, and the ocean. His passion in life was his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, his children, Timothy (Laura) Shultis, Lori (Michael) Cross, Jeffrey (Deborah) Shultis, Gregory (Xann McDonald) Shultis, and his grandchildren, Katelyn Shultis, Brandi Phillips, Tricia O'Connor, Jessa Shultis, Morgan Shultis, Joshua Shultis, Zachary Shultis.
A memorial service will be held at Kevin W Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 8624 Main St, Honeoye, NY 14471, on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research, ALZinfo.org
