John Charles Sproul

John C. Sproul passed away peacefully on Jan 9, 2025 at Rochester General Hospital.

Born in Harrisburg, PA on July 9, 1944, he was the oldest of 3 children of Charles D. and Martha B. Sproul. He graduated with a Bachelors and Masters from Cornell University and began his career with Eastman Kodak as an electrical engineer. While at Kodak, where he spent his entire career, he completed his MBA at RIT.

He is survived by his brother, William B. Sproul, Eugene, OR, his sister, Susan M. Davison, Harrisburg, PA and 5 nieces and nephews.

John delighted in writing creative quiz show questions, was an avid Bills fan, and enjoyed outings to play blackjack.

The family will have a small private service later this summer in honor of John.
