Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Joetta Gomez, Joe leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his cherished wife of 65 years, Patricia S. Ciranni, and their children: Michael Gomez, Renee Randazzo, and Rhonda, married to Michael Sliker. His memory will live on through his grandchildren—Michael, Matthew, Erica, Leah, and Trisha—and great-grandchildren, Lainey, Grayson, Chase, and Declan. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also mourn his passing.
Joe dedicated over 60 years to his work in construction, notably for The Town of Greece. A man of varied interests, he found joy in gardening, fishing, reading, and hunting. His passion for the New York Mets and Buffalo Bills was well-known. Joe relished the time spent with family and friends, especially during gatherings and cherished winters in Florida with Pat.
His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived and richly filled with love and laughter.
The family will receive friends 4-6pm Wednesday July 22, 2026 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) A Memorial Service will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 6pm. Interment, Falls Cemetery is private.
