Joseph Stanley Cybul, a proud United States Air Force veteran, Dedicated manager with Party City for over thirty years, passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2026. Born in Rochester on September 30, 1958, Joseph lived a life marked by service, both to his country and his community.

Joseph embraced his role as a manager with the same commitment and passion that characterized his military service from 1976 to 1980. His career was not merely a job but a testament to his hard work and dedication. His favorite saying, "It is what it is," reflected his pragmatic approach to life's challenges and underscored the resilience he displayed throughout his life.

An avid outdoorsman, Joseph relished camping and fishing, often sharing these experiences with family and friends. His love for nature added a vibrant dimension to his character, allowing him to foster connections with those around him in settings that brought joy and tranquility.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Lobell Cybul; sons, Robert and Michael Cybul; sister, Peggy (Wayne) Bansbach; brother, Christopher (Brenda) Cybul; 6 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who cherished the time spent with him. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Cybul, who passed away in 2021.

Joseph's life was filled with love, laughter, and the indelible memories he created with family and friends. A viewing will be held on March 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, Westside, located at 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626.
