Irondequoit: Passed peacefully, Sunday, March 27, 2016, at age 92, and is now with the Lord, and his loving wife Mary.
He is survived by his children, Gary Cassara (Alice Hoagland), Mark (Ann) Cassara, Patricia (Scott) Thompson; grandchildren, Jason, Joseph (Kara), and Grace Cassara, Julia (Patrick) Pharo, Jamison Kantor, Frank (Stacy) Cassara; great-grandchildren, Hayden & Brienna Cassara, and Chase Cassara; many nieces & nephews.
Joseph was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WWII. He was a prominent commercial builder in the Rochester and surrounding areas.
There will be no prior calling. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd., Rochester. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
