Morinelli, Joseph J.
Rochester: Passed peacefully Thursday, July 4, 2013 at age 89. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Deborah) Morinelli; grandchildren, Joey (Nicci Morante) Morinelli, Talia Morinelli; great-grandson, Luca Morinelli; sister-in-law, Bessie Morinelli; brothers-in-law, Bill Kaufman and Rudy (Suzi) Nessel; along with numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend and caregiver, Carol Massey.
Joseph was a United States Army veteran who served his country during WWII, a retiree of the United States Postal Service after 32 years and a member of the American Legion. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who made the greatest spaghetti sauce and will be sadly missed by all.
There will be no prior calling hours. Joseph's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 9 at 10AM at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Ave. Inurnment Holy Sepluchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Joseph's name may be directed to Holy Apostles Church.
