Rochester: Passed unexpectedly, Friday, July 31, 2009, at age 30. He is survived by his mother, Carey (Gambacurta) Yur (Dave O'Connell); father, Stephen Yur; sister, Jennifer Yur (Douglas Loren Jr.); nephew, Douglas Jay Loren III; grandparents, Margareta & Mychajlo Yur, Helen Gambacurta; many other loving family members and friends. Joe was an employee of Mark IV, owner of JMY Enterprises, and partner in Custom Realty Group. Joey~la enjoyed the Yankees, hunting, motorcycling and outdoor activities.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 5-8 PM Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10 AM at St. Josaphat's Church, 940 Ridge Rd. East, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at www.rochesteranimalservices.com
