Gordon, Joseph N., Jr.
Died peacefully Thursday, March 24, 2011 at age 72. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph N. Sr. and Mary T. Gordon; brother, Thomas Michael Gordon; sister, Patricia Ann Lipinski. He is survived by his sisters, Joan Elizabeth Gordon, Mary Catherine Brandt, Virginia Mary Meehan, Roberta Frances Gordon; special nephew and care-giver, Thomas Campbell and numerous other nieces and nephews. Joseph was a devout Catholic who had made 3 Pilgrimages to Lourdes as a Grand Cartier. He had a tremendous desire for life inspite of his phyical afflictions.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 27th from 2-5 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Joseph's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 28th at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
