Polowe, Joseph Jr. Lt. Col., USAF (Retired)
Greece: Died peacefully Sunday, March 6, 2011 at age 88. Pre¬deceased by his loving and de¬voted wife of 62 years, Elizabeth and brother, Philip. Survived by daughters, Stephanie (Stephen) Aldersley, Gwen (Paul) Planet; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Rubens, Dr. Paul Joseph (Elizabeth) Planet, Ian Downey, Elizabeth (Cody) Parker, Jordan Aldersley; great-grandchildren, Cole and Miles Rubens, Henry, Abraham and Charles Planet and Rose Parker; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joseph was an engineer and educator, and was a retiree of The United States Air Force, Stromberg-Carlson, RIT-NTID and was an RPI and RIT Alumni. He also served as a longtime board member of The Greece Food Shelf.
Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 16th at 3PM the Interfaith Chapel at RIT. Memorial con¬tributions may be directed to the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf, 500 Maiden Lane, Rochester, NY 14616.
