Joseph R. Kahler
Greece: Passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at age 85. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank & Rosella Kahler. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Frances; children, Robert (Kathleen), Kevin Kahler, Gail (Ralph) Cooley; his grandchildren, Kristen (Kevin) Cuff, Ashley Kahler, Heather Cooley, and Mark Cooley; great-grandson, Caleb; brothers, James and Jack Kahler; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Joe was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. He was also the co-founder of the Rochester Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division.
No prior calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 11 at St. John the Evangelist, 2400 W. Ridge Road, Rochester, New York 14626. Private interment.
