Joseph R. Kashmer
June 4, 1927 — September 26, 2015
Webster: September 26th 2015 at the age of 88.
He is predeceased by his wife Veronica Moravek Kashmer.
Joseph is survived by his children Joseph J. (Deborah) Kashmer, Rosemarie Scotney, Gary (Marie) Kashmer and David Kashmer. His grandchildren John, Joseph, Robert, and Christina Kashmer, Drew and Holly Kashmer. Great grandchildren Gavin and Jace. Sister Theresa (Larry) Paulo of NJ and longtime friend Helen White, and many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was born in Brockton PA and came to Rochester in 1951 where he began work at Stromberg Carlson. Within a year he went out on his own and opened up Kashmer Television Sales and Service.
He ran his own business for 25 years before retiring, and turning the business over to his son Joseph.
He loved golf and traveling, but mostly enjoyed his time with his dear children.
No prior calling.
His funeral mass will be held Wednesday Sept 30th at 9:15 am at St. Rita's Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster NY.
