November 29, 1927 — July 6, 2024
Penfield – 7/6/24, World War II army veteran passed away at 96 years old.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 72 years Betty, parents William & Juliana Schwab, and his siblings George, Marie, Helen, Bill, Francis, Margaret, Dorothy & Joan.
Joe is survived by his loving & devoted children Kathleen (Dr. Stephen) Xenias, Daniel (Carol), Marilyn, Amy (Gill) Castle & Thomas. He is also survived by his nine cherished grandchildren & their spouses, and his adored ten great grandchildren. He leaves behind his sister Agnes Hill, brother Richard Schwab, and many nieces & nephews.
Joe was dedicated to his family and his 40 year career with the Eastman Kodak Company.
His love, wisdom and jokes will be missed, and we will honor his memory always.
In keeping with his wishes, there are no prior calling hours, his Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 10th at 11am at
St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield.
