Predeceased by parents, Lucy & Anthony Sofia; sister, Dolly Sofia; sister in law, Patty Fuino; & niece, Alicia Sofia.
Survived by his wife of 39 years, Romilde Sofia; children, Lucia (David) Sofia & Joseph Sofia; grandchildren, Alecia (Tony) Scherzi, Aylaya Cruz, Analia Cruz, Angie Sofia, Jayden Sofia, & Kamila Sofia; great grand daughter, Avi; brothers, Anthony Sofia Sofia, Sunny Sofia Sofia, & Chris Sofia; many nieces & nephews; close friend, Russell Risotto; & many other family & friends.
Joe was a social butterfly, he loved to talk about stories way back in the day.
He was loved deeply by his wife & family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather.
Memorial service will be held Saturday March 19, 6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
