Spencerport: Sept. 8, 2013, at age 87. He is predeceased by his
parents, Joseph and Mary; wife, Eleanor; son, David; and sister,
Mary. Survived by his loving companion, Jackie Ashton; son,
Joseph; daughter-in-law, Renee; step daughter, Dawn Odgen; his
grandchildren: Amy, Melissa, Kristen, Jaime, David (Angela), Joseph
(Melissa), Jason (Christine) Ashton and Kellie (Rick) Judd; several
great-grandchildren; sister, Ann DeFord; several nieces & nephews;
and special friends, Bonnie Karstetter and Charles & Marcia
Keady.

Joseph was a retiree of Eastman Kodak with over 40 years of
service. He was a member of the American Legion and USS
Shangrila Reunion Association.

Friends and family may attend his calling 12-2 PM Saturday,
Sept. 14, 2013 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway
Ave. Rochester, NY. His Memorial Service will follow at 2 PM. Private
interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the
Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
