Joseph Williamson

Pittsford: Passed away at home, June 2nd, 2016 after a battle with cancer that was characteristically void of complaint and regret.

We will miss all of his jokes, cooking, magic tricks and unabashed candor.

The Mainer that made his way to Rochester was a softy behind a gruff facade, who lovingly related to everyone who crossed his path.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Cathleen, daughters, Deborah (John) Schoendorf, Amy (Ken) Woodring and Kimberly (Vincent) Press and son, Jeffrey (Lindsay) Melvin.
Ten grandchildren, brothers David (Jeanne) and William Williamson.

Family will receive friends Monday June 6th 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at New Comer Funeral Home 6 Empire Blvd, where his service will be held Tuesday at 11am.

Private interment.
