December 14, 1921 — March 19, 2015
North Chili: Josephine passed peacefully and went home to be with our Lord on March 19th 2015 at the age of 93.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Predeceased by her husband Sam; and son Sam Jr.; sisters Mary, Connie, Phyllis, and Margaret.
Survived by her children Rose Marie (Phil) Damiani, Gloria (John) Canfield, Jerry (Judi) Geraci, and Ronald (Deidre) Geraci. Grandchildren Tony (Monica), Dianna (Al), Philip (Pam), Steven (Michelle), Renee, Roxanne, Marie, Andrew, Jerry Jr., Michelle, Gina, Marisa (Clayton), Christene (Joe), Ron Jr. (Cecelia). 28 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-great grandchildren . Brother Diego Scanio. Sisters Carmela (Tony) Basso, Mickie Pettit, Phyllis Marino and Lina Bennardo. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Josephine loved and prayed for everyone. She loved to make crafts, cook, knit, and play games. She was loved by anyone she touched and she will be forever missed.
Calling hours will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday March 22nd at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated Monday March 23 at 10 am at St. Christopher Church, 3350 Union St. N. Chili.
Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Wedgewood Nursing home, United Hospital and the many wonderful Doctors who cared for Josephine throughout the years. Also, a special thanks to her many friends at the College Greene community.
