Irondequoit: Passed December 26, 2011 at age 94. Predeceased by her sister, Mafalda Pratt; brothers, John and Henry Cianfoni. She is survived by her husband, Pasquale "Pat" Cardella; sons, Frederick (Sally), Francis (Paula) and James (Fern) Cardella; grandchildren, Lauren Cardella, Michelle (Cardella) Smith, Todd Cardella, Michael Cardella, Kathryn (Cardella) Bachmann, Daniel Cardella, Zack Cardella; great grandchildren, Elaina and Owen Smith; several nieces and nephews.
Josephine was a retired Real Estate Agent and worked at Fashion Park. She loved spending time with her family, knitting and cooking.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 2-5 PM Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
