Rochester: Passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at age 86.
Predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Charles R. Zaffuto; parents, Mike and Mary Arbia; precious sisters, Nancy, Rose and Jean; brother, Chuck.
Survived by her children, Kitty (Vic) Cavalieri and Chuck (Kristine) Zaffuto; her wonderful grandchildren, Jody (Aaron) Kent, Matt (Erin) Cavalieri, Pam (Bobby) Godula, Neil (Natalie) Cavalieri and Daniel Zaffuto, Victor Cavalieri; her pride and joy great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Jonathan, Sarah, Silas, Jack, Sammy K., Sammy Z., Annalee, Levi and Sweet Zeke; her awesome Teddy ("Ted" Onafrio Tedesco) together for 23 years, who cared for her so deeply and took care of her to the end; special nieces, nephews, cousins, many many dear friends and those that called her Mom/Grandma.
She was loved by many and known by many names such as Jo, Josie, Baby Jo, Bubbles, LaLa, Grandma Jo, Gram, Great Grandma, Mom and Mother.
Family will receive friends 4-8 Friday, February 26, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Greece Assembly of God, 750 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612.
