Joyce LaRocca

Passed away on October 30th, 2026 at the age of 88.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Louis LaRocca Sr; her loving mom, Renzia Lathron; daughter-in-law, Wendy LaRocca; and grandson-in-law, Bryce Johnson.

She is survived by her sons, James LaRocca and Louis (Diane) LaRocca Jr.; brother, John (Carol) Lathron; grandchildren, Valerie Johnson, Lindsay (Shawn) Parslow, Natalie LaRocca, Samantha (Alphonse A.) Sasso, Alexandra, Madeline and Olivia LaRocca; great grandchildren, Chelsey and Cody Passino, Hope, Alphonse James, Lucio and Silas Sasso, Zane and Renzia Parslow; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Joyce loved simple things: the color blue, flowers, cooking, animals (especially cats) and her family. She wanted nothing more than to spend time with her family especially during holidays. She cherished the big family gatherings from years past with her mom, Renzia, and how we would pack that old house full of family to enjoy the best meals ever! Her love for cooking provided the delicious food to feast on for many of those family gatherings. Even up until the end, she still insisted that she keep the collection of pots and pans (hundreds of them) because she might have the opportunity to cook for family again one day.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8th from 10-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Interment at 10am on Monday, November 9th at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
