On Wednesday, June 24th around 3 PM, Judith A. Champion died peacefully in her sleep.

Judy was born and raised in Rochester, New York by her parents, Ruth and Jack along with siblings Joan, Jim, Jerry, and Jay.

Judy graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1956 and was a member of the Latin Club.

Three years later she would marry Elmer and was a faithful wife until Elmer’s untimely death in 1995. Judy would give birth to her first of three children, James, in 1960 along with Michael in 1969 and Jean in 1971.

Judy also worked at the Penfield Wegmans for nearly a quarter century patiently waiting on customers and making new friends along the way.

Judy is survived by her three children, her grandchildren, Jared, Ryan, Zayd, and Tehyo; her brother Jerry; and half-sister, Joan.

Calling hours will be at New Comer at 6 Empire Blvd., on Monday, June 29th from 4-7 PM. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield, New York at 10 AM on Friday, July 3rd. All are welcome.
