Julia Mae Love, a cherished soul, was born on September 20, 1940, in Quitman, Georgia. Her journey through life led her to beautiful destinations, including Fort Pierce, Florida, and ultimately to Rochester, New York, where she settled in 1967.
Julia departed this world on January 6, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, laughter, and kindness. She is lovingly remembered by her adoring family, which includes her daughters, Melissa Teresa Love and Debra Ann Love, and her sons Warner Lee Love and Arthur Lee Love. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, leaving a legacy of 17 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren whose lives she enriched beyond measure.
Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, Mose Ella Hudgeons and Henry Bean, whose guidance and love nurtured Julia into the incredible person she became.
Julia possessed a passion for fishing, finding solace and joy by the water's edge, where she often contemplated life's wonders. Her spirit will continue to fish in the hearts of those who loved her, as they recall the warmth she brought into every gathering and her infectious laughter that lit up the room.
The visitation for Julia Mae Love will be held on January 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, Westside, located at 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626.
