Died surrounded by close family on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the age of 73.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gregorio Casaverde Quintana and Rosa Luisa Rojas Cáceres.
Juvenal is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jeanne Casaverde, and by his children Janet Casaverde-Pineda and husband Pedro, Ruben Casaverde and wife Zoraida, Pablo Casaverde and wife Nina, Jose Casaverde and wife Kathryn. His 10 grandchildren Alejandro, Samuel, Sofia, and Gabriel Casaverde (Ruben); Amaru and Anahi Pineda (Janet), Neil and Nayan Casaverde (Pablo); Ian and Brennan Casaverde (Jose) complete his circle of family love.
He is also survived by his sister Elva Casaverde de Ricalde and her husband Ernesto, his sister Hermelinda Casaverde and brother Benilde Casaverde, as well as countless loved nieces and nephews both in Peru and the United States.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and other medical staff in the Intensive Care Units 8-1600 and 8-3400 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Family will receive friends and relatives Monday evening, from 6-8 pm, at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where they will gather to celebrate his life and memory. A private interment will be held at a later date.
