Passed peacefully on Tuesday May 6, 2025.
Karen was born and raised in Auburn, NY, and later moved to Rochester, NY with her husband, Mike, where they started a family and built a beautiful life together. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother (“Gigi”), friend, and NICU nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital where she spent 35 years caring for some of the most vulnerable babies with extraordinary compassion and dedication.
Above all, she was an incredible mother to her three daughters—raising them with unconditional love, strength, and selflessness. She was equally devoted to her role as Gigi, showering her grandchildren with love, laughter, and warmth.
She found peace and joy in nature, especially during cherished family trips to the Adirondacks. She also loved cooking, gardening, painting, and music. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the deep love she gave so freely to everyone lucky enough to know her.
Predeceased by her sister, Cathy Delaney. Father, William Delaney.
Survived by her loving husband, Michael Miller. Daughters, Kelly (Bethany Hensley) Miller, Marissa (Michael Singleton) Miller, Kara (Maurice Aubry) Miller. Grandchildren, Hunter and Sky. Mother, Gloria Delaney. Brother, William (Carol) Delaney. Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
