Karen J. Gingello, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on August 27, 1948, in Rochester, New York, Karen made significant contributions to her profession and was deeply cherished by those who knew her.
A dedicated systems analyst at RG&E, Karen's career was marked by her commitment to excellence and her unwavering work ethic. Her colleagues admired her professionalism and problem-solving skills, and she played a pivotal role in numerous projects throughout her tenure.
Above all, Karen cherished her family. She is survived by her husband, Anthony D. Gingello; her daughter, Jennifer L. Priore; and three granddaughters, who will carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Karen also leaves behind her sister and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Karen was predeceased by her parents and her brother, whose memories she held dear throughout her life. As a daughter, sister, and later as a wife and mother, Karen exemplified the qualities of compassion, loyalty, and dedication, creating lasting bonds with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In this time of sorrow, those who remain to honor Karen's memory take comfort in the profound impact she had on their lives. Her spirit and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of many.
