Katherine "Kay" Gregory, born to the world on November 29, 1938, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Kay's presence on this Earth was a gift, one that radiated warmth, strength, and vibrancy. Her well-liked nature brought joy to countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories that will forever be treasured by family and friends.

A woman of many talents, Kay had an innate flair for interior decorating that transformed homes into havens. Her keen eye for design was matched only by her passion for gardening, where she nurtured both plants and relationships with the same care and dedication. Her love for sewing clothing and quilting spoke to her creativity and resourcefulness, often resulting in beautifully crafted pieces that her loved ones continue to hold dear.

Family was at the very heart of Kay's being. She was a devoted matriarch, always ensuring that gatherings were filled with laughter and love. A remarkable soul, she was fiercely independent and never shied away from expressing her opinions. “No grey with Kay” was a mantra in her life, highlighting her strong personality and unwavering convictions.

Her adventurous spirit also drew her to the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland—especially the grandeur of the Matterhorn—where moments with family created stories that are now cherished chapters in her family's history.

Kay is predeceased by her husband, Herbert Gregory; parents, Frederick and Lydia Born. She is survived by her daughters, Erin (Kevin) Haude and Kristen Corbran. Kay cherished her grandsons, Bryan (Alex Curre) Haude, Blake (Madi) Haude and Garret Corbran, along with her great-granddaughters, Josie Lyn and Bailey Lyn Haude; cousins, Richard (Janet) Merz, Robert Wendler; dear companion, Bob Guarino.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
