Keith Andrew Robistow, brother, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on March 5, 1969, in Rochester, New York, Keith's vibrant presence touched the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing him.
Keith was renowned for his remarkable strong work ethic and unwavering generosity. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help those in need, always there for his family and friends. His full of life personality and love for people made him an enigmatic figure who drew others toward him. In his leisure time, he found immense joy in hockey and NASCAR, pursuits that brought him closer to family and friends alike.
Music was another pivotal aspect of Keith's life. He was a self-taught virtuous guitarist and pianist who played lead guitar in multiple local bands, including Immaculate Mary, Anonymous Creation, and Atomicup. His passion for music resonated with those around him and left a lasting impact in the local music scene.
Keith served honorably as an U.S. Army veteran, continuing his service in the reserves for many years, showcasing his commitment and dedication beyond the responsibilities of everyday life.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Tyler J. Robistow, and stepson, Stephen Owen. Keith is also survived by his brothers, Charles "Chuckie" Robistow and Paul C. (Tracy) Robistow, as well as Tyler's mother, Sharon Owen, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Irvie Robistow, who undoubtedly contributed to the man he became.
A visitation to celebrate Keith’s life will be held on June 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY, 14626. Friends and family are invited to come together during this time to honor and remember Keith's remarkable journey and the profound impact he had on all who knew him.
