Kenneth W. Bliss, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 30, 2026, in Rochester, NY. Born on October 2, 1951, in Warsaw, NY, he led a life full of love, laughter, and remarkable experiences.

Kenneth dedicated a significant part of his professional life as a millwright at General Motors, contributing his skills and work ethic to the company until his retirement. His creativity and craftsmanship were evident both at work and in his everyday endeavors.

Beyond his career, Kenneth was an avid hunter, indulging in the thrill of world travel as he pursued his passion. His love for the game of golf was matched only by his enthusiasm for supporting the Buffalo Bills football team, a source of joy that brought him closer to friends and family.

A devoted family man, Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Nellie, who brought warmth and happiness to his life. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Bliss and Norma Mielke. His legacy continues through his daughter, Cathy (Christopher) Vath, and granddaughters, Elisha Bennett and Priscilla (Stephen) Longo. Kenneth’s great-grandchildren, Stella and Mason Longo, will carry his spirit into the future. He was surrounded by love from his sister-in-law, Marie Bolling, his devoted niece, Shawna (Martin) Haight; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who held him dear.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Katheryn (Guy) Spade and Kenneth Bliss Sr., who shaped the foundation of his character and values.

In addition to his family ties, Kenneth was accompanied in life by his beloved dog, Alex, whose companionship was a source of comfort and joy.

As we remember Kenneth W. Bliss, we honor a life well-lived, rich with adventure, devotion, and a commitment to family and friends that will continue to inspire those who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing in his life’s journey.
