Rochester: Died peacefully, Saturday, June 11, 2011, at age 48, after a courageous fight with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, James & Alice Wagner; sister, Nancy Kouyaté; beloved cats, Pheobe, Brucey, Burtey, Sophie & Margaret. He is survived by his fianceé and best friend, Becky (Dalcin) Maerlender & her children, Justin & Danielle; sisters, Beverly LaBelle, Mary Wagner, Kathleen Fritchman; niece, Skye (DC) Cantwell; nephew and niece, Peter & Elizabeth Fritchman; cousin and longtime friend, David (Dina) Wagner; cats, Sammy Jo and Bobby; turtle, Mr. T; and all of his Wegmans family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Advent House for their love and support of Kenny's family.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Kenny's Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, 9:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm or to Advent House.
