Greece- Kenneth D. Syfrett, 74, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born in Rochester, NY on February 12, 1945. Ken served his country honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam. On November 22, 1969 he married the love of his life Mary Jo. They were married for 50 years and together they raised three children. Ken was a loyal employee to Eastman Kodak Co. for over 40 years. He retired in 1998 and in his retirement he enjoyed golfing, camping, and spending time with his family. His passion in life was his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jo, his children, Stephanie (James) Gifford, James (Megan) Syfrett, and Matthew (Megan) Syfrett, his four grandchildren, Kaleigh, Grace, Christopher, and Isabella.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM, with a memorial service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kenneth's name to Richard's House, 290 Cypress St, Rochester, NY 14620.
