Gates: Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 21st 2014 at age 73. He is predeceased by his son, Perry Ball; father, Ulysses Wiggins, mother, Annabelle Collier. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Roxie Wiggins; children, Beverly Connor, James Griffin, Crystal Smiley, Sophia Stanley, Tanya Kenderson, and Kenisha Wiggins; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Wiggins of Rochester; brothers and sister; along with many other extended family members.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday June 25th at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, 351 Joseph Avenue, Rochester, New York 14605.
Interment in Florida.
