Kevin Jay Parks (57) died at his home in Rochester, NY on Friday, October 12, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents Austin L Parks and Ardeth A (Wise) Parks.
He is survived by two sisters and one brother Arleen G Morris of Wilmington, Ohio and Julie K Nutter of Dayton Ohio and David a Parks (Cheri) of Steubenville Ohio.
Also, 5 nieces...Krista Nutter Moberly, Janna Morris Mays, Sarah Nutter Laupp, Savannah E Parks & Sierra N Parks. 5 nephews...Nathan D Morris, AJ Nutter, Cody A Parks, Mason A Parks & Aiden Banks, and several great nieces & nephews. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins & special friend Kimberly Collucci.
Kevin was retired from the Rochester Police Dept. after 27 years of service & he was a member of the Westside Church of Christ where he often led the singing.
He had been battling cancer for more than 10 years. Kevin was kind & generous to friends & strangers alike. He was dearly loved & he will be greatly missed! Finally free of sickness & pain, our dear brother Kevin is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus!
A memorial service in Kevin's honor will be held in Parkersburg, WV at a later date.
