Kurt Andrew Sauers

Rochester, NY

Passed away on June 10th, 2026 at the age of 44.

Predeceased by his beloved brother, Keith Sauers, loving grandparents: Al and Felicia Manfredi, Fred and Lucille Sauers, aunt Sharon Sauers, cousin and godmother, Theresa Winkie, and many great aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald & Roseanne Sauers, sister, Karyn Sauers and Karyn’s daughter (almost like a daughter to him) niece, Marlaina Sauers, beautiful children-niece Leah and nephew Ethan Sauers, sister-in-law, Angela Liu Sauers, aunts and uncles: Barb and Dave Bush, Tom Sauers, Cathy and Doug Hamilton, Alan and Nina Manfredi, Peter (godfather) and his loving wife Patty (Bunny) Manfredi.

Very good friends Clarence and Robin, Tony, Carlos, Andy, Tori (Karyn’s school friend) as well as many cousins including Andrew and Katie, and other wonderful Holy Cross school friends and other friends and relatives including the lifelong friendship his family has with the DeLucia family.

His cousin, Christine Dodge, was a good friend for talks and encouragement as well as her thoughtful surprise gift of sending groceries after his first coming home from the hospital.

Kurt was a wonderful person. He worked hard, was good to his family (mom and dad, sister and nieces and nephew) and friends and loved his cats especially Cookie and our dog Belly who really loved him so much.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Marlaina wanted to add that she and Keith and Kurt confided in each other for everything in their lives.

Internment took place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 6th at Holy Cross

Church, 4492 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church.
