Rochester: Returned to the arms of her Lord on May 3, 2013 at age 99. She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Andrew Gambacurta. She is survived by her brother, Herbert (Mary) Pelton; her children, John D. Halladay, C. Robert Gambacurta, Nancy Jo Gambacurta (Kenneth Kassel), Anthony A. Gambacurta Jr. (Michele Santini); her grandchildren, Anthony Andrew Gambacurta III (Virginia), Charles Robert Gambacurta Jr., Bethany Joy McAvoy (Patrick); her great-grandchildren, Hayden Elizabeth Gambacurta, Finley Amelia McAvoy, Laura Katherine Gambacurta; sisters-in-law, Margaret Pelton and Doris Pelton; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Laura was a devout member of the First United Methodist Church of West Webster.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church, 570 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580.
