Rochester: April 21, 2014. Born May 6, 1921. He is predeceased by his loving wife Rita and brother James. Survived by his 16 children, LaVerne Jr. Eileen, John, Stephen, Thomas, Theresa, Margaret, Joan, Rita, Rosemary, Anne, Patricia, James, Jean, Mary and Kathleen, 49 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, his brother Timothy and sister Carol.
LaVerne was a US Army WW II veteran and retired from Eastman Kodak in 1983.He was a loving family man and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd.His funeral mass will be held Friday at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4488 Lake Ave.
