Predeceased by his brother Elroy Parkins.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years Regina Ohs Parkins; his daughters
Diane (Gene) Kepple and Vickie (Dale) Kellerson.
Grandchildren, Cory (Mary) Kellerson, Jeffrey (Jessamyn) Kellerson, and Rebecca (Cpt. Daniel) Spellacy; great grand daughter Logan Regina Spellacy; sister in law Joy Merkel, and niece Helen Parkins.
Larry was an Army Air Force veteran who served in England during WWII.
Upon his return, he worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 36 years.
He designed and built his and Regina's home, as well as several other homes in around Rochester.
Larry proudly graduated from RIT with an associates degree at age 40.
In addition to this accomplishment he was involved in Civil Defense in the late 60's and early 70's.
Larry was a driver for the Red Cross for over 20 some odd years delivering blood all over upstate New York.
He was a lifetime member of the Greece United Methodist Church as well as the Northside Lions Club where he received many awards.
Larry was presented with, Certificates of Recognition from Senator Joseph Rohrbach on August 15th 2009 and the Greece Town Board on that same date.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Crimson Ridge, where Larry last resided, for everything they did and for the friendship they gave our Dad. They would also like to extend thanks to Mike who was Larry's nurse at the VA as well as Dr. Emily of the VA for the wonderful care they provided to Larry.
