Greece: Passed peacefully on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at age 72, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Theresa Mastroeni; her first husband, Ralph Migliore; sisters, Stella Thomas & Angie Telaro. Survived by her loving & devoted husband of 33 years, Tony; children, Michael (Christine) Migliore, Ralph Migliore, Tricia (Steve) Kuntz; her grandchildren, Kristina, Karlie, Michael & Danni; sister, Fran Henning; her brother, Louis (Sarah) Mastroeni; and many nieces and nephews.
Lena Mastroeni was born March 26, 1943 to Joseph and Theresa Mastroeni (Zuppara.) She was raised on Clark Avenue in Rochester with her siblings Maria Stella, Francis, Angelina (Angie), and Louis.
Lena went to Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and then Eastridge High School.
She married Ralph Migliore on August 26, 1961 at the Church of the Annunciation in Rochester. They lived on First Street until they bought a house on Weiland Road in Greece.
They had three children Michael, Ralph Jr., and Tricia. Lena was very proud of them. After Ralph Sr. pre-deceased her in 1981, she married Anthony Giglio.
Lena enjoyed being a mom, going to Las Vegas with her husband Tony, playing Bingo, family gatherings and most especially, being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by husband Anthony, all her children, and grandchildren Kristina, Karlie Rose, Michael, Danni and also, Ryan and Casey Sutherland.
A heart felt thank you goes out to all of the medical team and caregivers she has had affiliated with Unity Hospital. She especially enjoyed Lois and Barb in these last few years, who were faithful friends and aides.
Tony, was truly an unselfish husband who never left her side, and was her best friend. Lena's needs, wishes and ultimate comfort was his only focus and all of her children are extremely grateful and love him.
