Greece: Passed away peacefully on April 16, 2012 surrounded by the love of her family. Predeceased by her great granddaughter Samantha Gallo, Samantha's dad Jimmy, and her sister Barbara Konig. Lee is survived by her husband of 62 years Edward M. Cook, brother John (Pat) Lamboy, brother-in-law, Wayne Konig, Son Michael (Janine) Cook, Daughters Susan Cook, Nancy (Bob) Bottiglier, Patty (Bill) Kadar, and Carol Cook. Grandchildren Wendy (Anthony) Gallucci, Heather (JT) Wilkins, Ken Vanderbeck, Kyle (Julie) Bottiglier, Adam (Lesley) Bottiglier, Kaitlin (Kevin) Ruster, Cory Bottiglier, Zach Kadar, Ben (Lisa) Kadar, Nate Kadar, Jimmy Cook, Jillian Cook, Leanne Cook, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Lee loved and encouraged her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her Pug Barney. Lee volunteered at the Greece Public Library. She was the true "Matriarch" and will be deeply missed by all her family and her many friends.
The family wants to give a special thanks to all the staff of unit 2100 at the Unity Hospital in Greece and the staff at St. Ann's Palliative Care for Caring.
A Mass will be held in her memory at Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. (Greece) on Friday, April 20th at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Lee's honor to the Greece Public Library or the Palliative Care Center for Caring at St. Ann's Home.
