Passed away on June 13th, 2026 at the age of 79.
Predeceased by his Parents, Elsa Glotzbach and Lester Glotzbach, Sr.; Brother, Douglas Glotzbach.
He is survived by his Loving Wife, Linda L. Glotzbach; Sons, Stephen Glotzbach and Bryan (Cathy) Glotzbach; Grandchildren, Micah, Joshua, Caleb, Timothy, and Abigail Glotzbach; Sisters, Carol (Dave) Szczupakowski, Lynn McNally, and Shari Rogers; Sister-in-law, Robbin Glotzbach; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Lester was a passionate sports enthusiast, proudly supporting the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Rochester Americans, and the Arsenal FC Soccer team. His enthusiasm for the games was infectious, often igniting lively discussions and camaraderie among fellow fans. Sports were not merely a pastime for Lester but a source of connection and happiness that enriched his days.
Beyond the thrill of competition, Lester found comfort and delight in the company of his four beloved cats: Autumn, Pumpkin, Tweetie, and Bebe. Their presence was a constant source of joy and affection, reflecting his gentle spirit and capacity for care. Lester enjoyed playful moments with each of his feline companions, cherishing their unique personalities and the unconditional companionship they offered.
Lester also had a profound love for the game of euchre, engaging in countless matches with friends and family. His dedication to euchre showcased his sharp mind and social nature, as he relished the challenge and the shared experience of friendly competition. Alongside his sporting interests, his passion extended into the realm of science fiction—he was an avid consumer of science fiction shows, movies, and novels, allowing his imagination to explore vast and compelling worlds.
His interests and hobbies exemplified a life filled with curiosity, enthusiasm, and affection. Lester’s legacy is one of joyful engagement with the world around him, a testament to a man who embraced life fully and with heartfelt passion.
Family will receive friends Saturday, June 27th from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at Encounter Church (3355 Union St., N Chili, NY 14514). A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00pm, June 27, 2026 at Encounter Church.
