In Loving Memory of Linda Tambe:

In the quiet of February 20, 2026, Linda Tambe of Canandaigua, NY, passed away at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of resilience. Throughout her life, and particularly during the tribulations of her recent health struggles, Linda remained a person of gentle and unassuming character, navigating a protracted respiratory illness with quiet fortitude. 

She was an inveterate advocate for animal welfare, possessing a deep-seated affinity for the cats and dogs that graced her life. Her empathy for those without a voice was a hallmark of her generous nature, and she derived immense solace from the unwavering companionship of her pets.

Linda joins in repose her cherished husband, Ronald Tambe; her parents, Mario and Arlene Bianco; and her brother, James Bianco. Her memory remains a benediction for her son, Robert Tambe; her brother, Robert (Grace) Bianco; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Lisa (Robert) Thorpe and Gia Bianco, Colby (Chloe) Bianco Dathan (Denise) Bianco. She is further survived by her grand - niece, Oliva Thorpe and grand -nephew, Ethan Bianco and a broad circle of extended family and dear friends.

Friends and family are invited to pay their final respects on Sunday, March 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY. A formal memorial service to celebrate her life and spirit will commence immediately thereafter at 3:00 p.m.
